List of documents that any importer will need to complete before their goods arrive in Australia:

Packing declarations (Sea freight)
Commercial invoices

For some items, the government may require extra documentation that demonstrates extra steps have been taken. This might include treatments and fumigation if the goods are believed to pose a biosecurity threat. Some examples of the extra documentation you may be asked for include:

Treatment certificates
Marine insurance certificates
Certificates of Origin (Free Trade certificates)
Product specific documents

It's important to note that the specific taxes and fees that apply to a particular shipment will depend on the type of goods being imported, their value, and the destination country. Here are some taxes that may apply:

1. Import duty: A tax on imported goods that is based on the value of the goods, as well as the type of goods being imported.

2. Goods and Services Tax (GST): A tax on most goods and services sold or consumed in Australia. GST is calculated on the value of the goods, plus any applicable customs duty and other charges.

3. Luxury Car Tax (LCT): A tax on luxury cars that have a value above a certain threshold.
